The research program of Ye group at Indiana University Bloomington is primarily focused on the chemical synthesis of colloidal nanomaterials and their integration into mesostructures. We seek to advance the ability to observe, understand and ultimately control structural complexities such as interfaces, defects, heterogeneities and transient intermediates that determine physical property and materials functionality.
